The Highbush Cranberry is native to Alberta. It has attractive white flower clusters that bloom in June. The fruit can be eaten raw or cooked into a sauce. Highbush cranberry prefers to grow in average moist conditions, and shouldn't be allowed to dry out. The dark green foliage emerges brick red in the spring and turns an amazing scarlet red in the fall.
